We are pleased to announce the continuation of the Educational and Informative Seminars organized and sponsored by the American Yacht Charter Association (AYCA) during the Newport Charter Yacht Show, June 17- 20, 2013. The Show is now owned by Newport Harbor Corporation and, based on last year’s improvements, we really feel that this year will be better than ever!
Thus, please "Save The Date" of Wednesday, June 19, 2013, on your calendars to attend the Seminar from 8:00 - 11:00am, with registration and a continental breakfast starting at 7:30am. We will be on site at the Newport Yachting Center in the Sunset Tent. The PR Committee of AYCA respectfully requests your assistance to make this Seminar relevant for our members and guests. Any ideas including program topics, speakers/panels, and sponsors are requested to be sent to jsaia@iyc.com on or before April 26, 2013 so that the Committee can meet to get a focus on what the membership would like to have presented at this year’s Seminar. We have already secured the Emcee, Brian Butler, who was our Marketing Segment Speaker last year and we are pleased to announce that the Hay House Author and Executive Dream Producer, Jennifer Grace, will be our Keynote Speaker this year! More details will follow on the Speakers and Program Agenda as the information becomes available.
We are actively seeking Sponsors for the Seminar at $500 per company. MYBA has already committed to sponsoring again which is very much appreciated!

Although we have been enjoying the annual charter yacht show in Newport, R.I., for more than 30 years, we reserved advance judgment about this year’s edition, held on June 18-22, 2012, due to the show’s recent change of ownership to Newport Harbor Corporation (NHC). A day or two into the event, however, all were in agreement that the 2012 Newport Charter Yacht Show was a huge success..
